My wife's family has used Chuck as their mechanic for years, following him when he (relatively) recently opened his own shop. He's become my mechanic too and all I can say is that I hope he never retires -- he's a refreshing combination of friendliness, honesty, and quality work that is hard to find!

Chuck is always thoughtful and patient. He doesn't try to sell anything extra. It means everything in the world to trust your mechanic. (Plus his dog that hangs around the garage is adorable.)

I took my 1996 Honda Accord to Chuck the other day with a list of about $1500 worth of work that the folks at the Honda dealership told me I really needed to have done after they did a "free service" on my car - from a poromotion they sent me a postcard for in the mail.

Chuck took a look at each issue and told me what was going on and how serious each issue really was. He took me out to the car and showed me what they were talking about and explained why each issue actually turned out to be minor instead of a must-do right now. He didn't totally dismiss everything or agree with them instantly - he showed me what was actually going on.

So, I have peace of mind that my car isn't going to self-destruct on my way to work, and I don't have to shell out almost as much money as the car is worth in order to fix some things that aren't actually broken.

It's really nice to be able to trust the person who takes care of my car - that they will do an thorough job and trust they're not pushing a bunch of unnecessary repairs on me. Chuck gets all of my car business from now on - from oil changes to anything more serious down the road.

Chuck is a caring, thoughtful individual who happens to like to work on cars and take care of his customers. He's not a salesman, won't push an agenda and keeps his word. I can't say enough good things about him.
