If you own a Mercedes Benz which is still under warranty you don't have much choice but to go to either Autobahn, Symth or Park Avenue.
I experienced the same level of incompetence from Park Avenue followed by obscene service estimates.

My recent visit to Autobahn was a visit to the Twilight Zone. Repair recommendations by Steve Hooper, Service Advisor that
left my car by the roadside - twice. My poor wife was forced to have the car towed back to Autobahn on my nickel just 48 hours after being serviced. My wife was met
by Marc Freschet, Operations Mgr - he actually had his feet up on the desk when she arrived. He offered NO advice, NO help, NO paper work and never
took the keys just a "we'll get back to you next week and enjoy your long weekend". What an insult after spending $2,000 just 2 days before. Autobahn repaired the car again for another $600, followed by
the car stalling out before I left their facility. Autobahn Motors of Belmont left me with unsafe, undrivable car and another $3000 estimate to repair the fuel and spark plugs that failed after
their fraudulent diagnostic work and unnecessary repairs. President Bush almost said it well - "fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me"

I had a terrible experience at Park Avenue Motors. Steve never returned my phone calls and was not very helpful when I had problems with my Mercedes. It was a 1 year old car and needed work often. Even worse, I felt like he was rude to me at times. I can't wait to buy a Lexus!

My experience with Park Avenue Motors in the repair of my Mercedes Benz is why I now own a Lexus! I brought my car in to have an electronic ignition system fixed and they returned my car to me with the electronic rear computer blown out. Yes, they had fixed the electronic ignition, but during the process they damaged the rear computer and refused to correct the damage, saying it had been "an underlying problem." NOT! Between the experience I had with Park Avenue and then later Autobahn, to say nothing of having a car with low mileage have electronic failures on 2 systems, I couldn't wait to get rid of the Mercedes and buy a Lexus. Both the Lexus and the Lexus dealership's service is extraordinary. Mercedes owners, leave the dark side!
