We highly recommend the 6wk birthclasses with Tracy Massillon vs. the 1 day-8hr course. We got to know the other couples in our class really well during our 6wk course, and are still keeping in touch over 6 months later. The pace and info given 1 week at a time was not overwhelming, and offered space to ask a lot of questions and soak it all in. We all shared our updates on our pregnancies as we went along, and the overall bonding was as good as the info you get from the course itself. 6wks may feel a long time, but it's SO worthwhile and such an enjoyable experience to have during that busy and sometimes scary time. It encourages you to slow down and take it all in. Do it! Take the 6wks course! You deserve it!

My husband and I took our childbirth preparation class here and it was excellent. I loved the welcoming vibe and very knowledgeable and nice owner. After my son was born, I found the store to be a great place to stop by, hang out, brows books and chat. The new facilities are big and comfortable and the owner has a nice inventory.

We highly recommend the 6 week Childbirth Prep classes, as well as the Breastfeeding and Infant Care classes. We learned about childbirth processes through discussion, exercises, video and readings. Both Tracy Massillon and Michelle Welborne provided up-to-date information to best support parents in pregnancy, labor and birth. The book list and collation of readings were incredibly eye-opening. This education changed the way we approached our care providers, hospital and birth process.

I took the 6 week Childbirth Preparation with Tracy Massillion at Natural Resources. I can see the draw of an 8 hour crash course, but over the 6 weeks I was able to really get to know the wonderful teachers and parents in the class (something that would not have been possible in just an 8 hour class). I strongly encourage parents (I'm a single mom, so I brought a different close friend to the class with me each week) and single moms to consider taking the longer, more intensive and rewarding class sessions. There were many points during my labor when I thought about things I learned in the classes and I was glad to have that knowledge on my side. Enjoy!

This is a great baby store and a great resource for pregnancy, birth and new parents. It offers classes for expectant and new parents. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. Everything sold in this store is good for your baby. A business worth supporting.

This is a wonderful resource for pregnant women and new mothers. They offer classes & workshops on birth, breastfeeding, infant nutrition and more. They sell organic cotton baby clothes, breasfeeding support products, toys, and more. Prices are also more reasonable than Day One.
