I would have enjoyed this place more if the staff, and particularly the owner, had shown more patience and tolerance for their young guests. The general atnosphere made me feel they viewed the party as a chore. In the end the fun of making their own food trumped the bad behavior from the adults and the children had a good time despite the staff's apathetic attitude.

Yesterday my son attended a 6-year old birthday party at the Young Chef Academy. It was a nice change from the parties at the wild bouncy house places. The kids were all completely engaged in making their own pizzas and devoured them for dinner as soon as they were done. It was a great opportunity for my son to choose his own toppings - who knew he liked olives?! I will definitely consider Young Chef Academy for our next party.

I highly recommend Young Chefs Academy for birthday parties. They are in Sunnyvale and they have make-your-own- muffin parties for 3-5 yo, pizza parties for 6-yo and for older kids (8 & up) make-your-own- pasta. They make everything fresh from scratch. My daughter loves their classes and camps and I try to take my son to their weekly classes whenever I can get off work early. Kds love it and they book up fast for birthday parties.

They do birthday parties where the kids get to make their own pizzas (ages 5 and up) or their own fresh pasta (age 8 and up). They'll also supply cake and goodies - chefs' hats, etc.
They also do cooking classes for children and teens - a great way to get them cooking at home or as they go off to college.
