Fantastic staff, very knowledgable and will spend the time helping you find the right book for a certain age group and something of special interest for the little person that you are shopping for. Free gift wrapping, also offers gift certificates. During the summers, they offer free concerts/book readings.

Linden Tree is by far the best children's book store in the Bay Area. They have a huge selection of children's books and the staff is very knowledgable. When I was looking for beginner chapter books they were able to recommend many titles that would appeal to my son. They also have a wide selection of books on tape and CDs for kids. Check their website because they frequently have concerts, book signings, and other events.
