Kids ages 5 - 15 can race on a paved 1/20th mile track in South San Jose. They have promo days where for $10 your child can borrow a car and safety gear and drive alone on the track. The next promo day is 9/8 from 10am - 3pm and I plan to give it a try with my two kids.
