Little Hands is a parent participation school, in Belmont, for ages 8-33 months. We have been a part of this program for the last 4 1/2 years with our 3 boys and we absolutely love it. You attend class 1 day a week for a 2 hour session with your child and you alternate between being a station parent or an observing parent with discussion at the end. There are a variety of stations for the kids, from an art project, to a sandbox, to a climber, to trikes, etc. The kids love all the activities, and thrive in the play based enviroment. It's great for parents to hear from other parents on similar challenges, obstacles they may be facing with their kids. The Director, Pat Meyer is fantastic and has been there for a number of years. She was a parent there with her kids. The teachers are also great and share their experiences. There are many fun social events during the year, from an ice cream social, to pancake breakfast, all school picnic, etc. All fun events that create a wonderful sense of community. If you are looking for a program for your infant or toddler, this is the program for you!
