When I called the pastor of this church over 10 years ago, I said we were looking for a place where we didn't have to think and believe just exactly like everyone else (which is the type of church I grew up in), she said we all bring our questions and doubts along with us on the journey and just do the best we can. Amen! This is a reconciling congregation which means that we welcome the full participation of people of all sexual orientations and gender identities in the life of the church. We are a congregation of straights and gays, various nationalities and ethnicities. We often describe ourselves as "strugglers and stragglers." It is a place we have felt at home for the past 10 years, where our children learn that we all come bearing gifts, and that all of those gifts are to be prized and celebrated.
