This church is very family-oriented. Not too small where you feel like you stick out, and not too big where you feel you get lost. The Sunday breakfast services are perfect for families - very casual, breakfast of bagels, fruit, cereal etc is available and everyone sits around tables for the service, not in the sanctuary. The atmosphere is always warm, relaxed and inviting. Every early summer there's a picnic service on the church lawn followed by informal lunch, and that is really fun, especially for the children. Plenty of activities go on in the various ministries, but it's up to you if you want to participate.

Whether you are new to the neighborhood or to the church, or you worship regularly, Union Presbyterian is always welcoming, friendly and yet unintrusive. On Sundays there is a breakfast service at 9:30 am (also 8:00 am) where families have the option to eat breakfast and worship together - or the children can attend Sunday School in a separate area. The Sunday School experience is fun for the children and the teachers are kind, patient and interested. My daughter is just 5 and she loves the sense of community that this church offers. I love it because everyone is so warm and open.
