They have great spiced coffee and a good selection of bagged teas. Foodwise, I've had a savory crepe and a frittata, and they've been good but not outstanding. It always seems crowded with a long line, so I usually go to Bistro Maxine for coffee and crepes a couple doors down if I don't need wireless internet. If I need wireless and caffiene, I pick Tea Time, also a couple of doors down and get a tea with tapioca pearls in it.

Aside from being a wonderful cafe, with a case full of gourmet chocolates, it serves really good food. My favorite dish so far are the "carne mechada" arepas. Cozy atmosphere, too! Great for working or socializing.

This is my absolute favorite independent coffee shop, the spicy maya moccha is amazingly good, think moccha with a kick. The pancakes are very good. I like to meet clients there.

This is a great local coffee shop. The coffee is fantastic and made with care - the baristas even draw pictures in the foam on the cappucinos. The food is healthy and tasty and the ambience is chill. It can get a little crowded though...

A truly congenial atmosphere coupled with sumptous deserts and delicious drinks. They even present your hot chocloate with a design created out of the foam. There are lots of nooks and crannies in which to bury yourself in a good book, chat with good company or, as is often evident, fire up your laptop. An absolute must for people watching.

I went there several times over the last quarter while I was at Stanford, and I particularly liked the cayenne spiced hot chocolate and the cayenne spiced café mocha. It’s a great place to hang out and study, and many people do. They have decent crepes, really good desserts and selection of wines. There’s a neat place to sit in the back with all kinds of padded seats around a fire place, which I like, and there’s outdoor seating on the street, which is quite nice too on a midsummer’s day.
