It's a good way to make sure you're eating your fill of fruits and veggies - while contributing to local farms! The winter boxes are a little boring (although everything is FRESH and wonderful, my only complaint if pressed... twice I've found the salad greens a bit 'mature' [read: tough] for my liking). This week - leeks (2 avg size), carrots (a pound?), butternut squashes (two small), tokyo turnips (bunch), rutabagas (two hefty), salad greens (3/4 of a produce size bag), a beautiful large cauliflower, and maybe 6 mandarin oranges - all for $17 (I pay 16.50 per week/full quarter). I joined last November - there's promises of heirloom tomatoes, peaches, plums, and apricots in the summer!

I've tried others - this one delivers close to home and is 1/2 the price with the same or better quality and quantity.
