something has to be changed in that office
unfortunately, just writing poor reviews may not help, and rutner dental will continue to mistreat people
i would suggest everybody who has concerns write to ADA

I do not recommend this place.
The administration of the office was so poor that I am no longer willing to try to schedule an appointment with them.
First I called them to confirm that they accept the new patients. Then named them as primary care provider for my HMO insurance, insurance faxed them a confirmation.
Called Rutner office , they said that they did not receive the fax. Waited one day, called Rutner dental, they again said that they did not receive it.
Called the insurance, insurance agent mentioned the the fax was sent, but gladly refaxed it again (I stayed on the line while she was doing it). Called after a few minutes Rutner dental - the office said again they did not receive anything, but most annoyenly they on my attempts to give the elegibility confirmation number to call and say that this is an urgent matter, they only replied that this is not their policy. I haven't seen the doctor , but already the administration office made it impossible to proceed any futher."

Guys!!!! Don't make the same mistake I made. Look around all the reviews for Rutner Dental. You can see that they are all BAD. Their Ortho Service is VERY VERY BAD. They only have one "1" orthodontics "DelCarmen" there. She is very irresponsible, and does not care about her work, as a result she did very bad job on my and my friends' work. After 2 years, then she realized she made a mistake and I needed to continue with the pain and suffering - I went for a second and third opinion, and they all said that if I went with some other responsible orthodontics then my orth work would have been finished - IN THE RIGHT WAY. : (

My experience with Rutner Dental resulted in severe dental pain and thousands of wasted dollars.
My initial appointment was for a check-up. It resulted in a painful procedure that was later deemed unnecessary. When I returned, in excruciating pain, I was told that it could take up to 6 months for the pain to abate. I decided to get a second opinion and I requested a copy of my x-rays. Rutner claimed to have lost my x-rays, as well as my spouse's and child's.
I would not want anyone to suffer as I have. Please choose a different dentist.
