A fabulous small school environment. The school has changed substantially (for the better) over the 2 years and somehow managed to keep, and grow, it's special 'core virtues' integrity. A powerfully respectful, loving, empowering and highly educational 'home' for students. A true sense of community is a great way to describe it's 'feel'.

Woodland is a co-educational, independent, private day school encompassing preschool and junior kindergarten through eighth grade. My children have been at Woodland for over three years now and love it. The academics are extremely strong with children learning to read starting in preK. After school activities include evertyhing from tennis and music to chess and languages. Parents can be as involved as they want to be.
