This is the largest farmers' market I've seen. Saturdays, there are produce, bread, cheese, meat, and other food stands both in front of and behind the Ferry Building. They have a veggie valet where you can leave your bags of goodies at an attended stand while you continue shopping. You just need to pick up your bags before the market closes at 2pm.
The market is Saturdays 8am-2pm and Tuesdays 10am-2pm year-round.
