Wilcox is a wonderful school. Most of the teachers there are great and a lot of the learning done by the students is fun due to the teachers' methods of teaching. The extracurricular activities, like sports, excels in Santa Clara and the parent involvement is quite good. I would recommend Wilcox High School to anyone looking to have the best high school years of their lives.

Both my kids studied at Wilcox. In academics, Wilcox is above average but not excellent. The physical sciences (Chemistry & Physics) are poorly taught (except biology and AP chem which are good). Math is very good. English is also good and foreign languages (Spanish & Japanese) are good. One good thing about Wilcox is that they encourage good students to take as many AP classes as they want (unlike Cupertino schools). Sports programs are really good. My kids really enjoyed them. No comments on parental involvement (I am one of the uninvolved parents). I think Wilcox should focus on improving their sciences (Chem & Physics).

Wilcox is not a very good school. Most of the teachers there act like they have no like for the career they chose. There are a few noteable exceptions to this but most of the teachers I feel should not be teachers. The students there are very stuck up (mostly rich, preppy kids) If you have any reguard for your child what-so-ever, please do them a favor and steer them away from Wilcox

A very good school. Don't be drawn into the hoopla of the Fremont Union's High Schools with high test scores and such. A kid can go be successful anywhere. This school is a fun school. Teachers are excellent! Sports are great! There is a diversity of students. No majorities everyone is special. Academically it is pretty good.

It is a horrible school. If you have a choice of Wilcox or Santa Clara, you better make the decision to choose SC.

Wilcox, like most schools, has its downsides as well as some upsides. The location of the school is ideal. It is in a residential area, which is very clean. Wilcox has a strong parental base that is often involved iwth the sporting events. A new science wing was built, as well as a theatre.

An average school when you consider what is available in the valley. Average number of academic programs, art, sport. Parent involvement not there.

The academics of wilcox are quite good the teachers are friendly and know thier subjects. The availability of some of the extracurricular activities is based on a pay per activity which is do to school cuts in funding, and is in need of improvement. The parents that are involved are not as high as could be but that is due to thier work hours.
