There is an ethics problem at this school. Also, the climate at the school is quite oppressive. The principal is very tied to what parents and students tell them...especially about teachers.

Aragon offered a wide breadth of educational programs in a nurturing environment. Parents applied long in advance, and students traveled far to reach the school, nestled in the Baywood hills. A diversity of students, whether from wealthy Hillsborough or working class San Matean communities, mixed with a tolerant environment promoted a diversity of perspectives in the safety of mutual respect and individual self-worth.

High academic standards, best music dept in the district, best swimming and water polo teams (both boys and girls) in the Pacific Athletic League, excellent principal, and very good parental envolvement.

Aragon is a fabulous enviornment. The teachers are well versed both intellecually and emotionally and offer a fun atmosphere for students. Despite the construction the school welcomes all students from all walks of life and has a fabulous athletic program. The AP program is also flourishing very well and te school just got rated as an 800 school

The school provides a private school education at public school expense - very little money, just some donation requests. The leadership is strong and the teachers high quality. Great athletic and music programs. Safe campus tucked away in suburbia away from commerial areas.

This is one of the better schools in the district. The staff is very picky about new teachers, and most are alumni of the most prestious universities. The faculty is very competent, the PTA is very involved, and there are many parent donations as well as activities to bond and help the students.
