Sheila Janakos is a great lactation consultant. She is based in Burlingame but she came to my home in Palo Alto twice when I had trouble breastfeeding my twins three years ago. I gradually increased breastfeeding and faded out bottle feeding. I could not do it without her support.

She is reachable at 650-579-2726. She has a weekly support group where you can meet other new moms and get all kinds of advice on breastfeeding and generic baby's health issues.
