Good job of teaching the kids how to get organized to keep track of all assignments. Teachers seem to be enthusiastic and good. I wonder how rigorous it is, my child doesn't have much homework, although others say they do.

Quality of teachers is not homogeneous. Some are excellent. I found 7th grade English particularly weak. Mr Schneider's science, Mr. Rosen history, Ms. Beeman English are excellent. Team sport program are exteremely selective, there aren't many opportunities for not so good players.

Excellent, dedicated teachers, a wonderful principal and staff. The only downside is the amount of stress this school places on 7th and 8th graders.

The academic curriculum is satisfactory. There are a lot of really good teachers and some not so good teachers. Math classes are at different levels. The elective classes are very fun and productive. Egan offers chorus, band, orchestra, art, foods, newspaper, yearbook, French, Spanish, tech, and computers.

Egan is a fairly good school. The teachers are very good and responsive. Its weaknesses are in the area of electives. The choices are very very limited, and the quality of teaching drastically deterioriates.
