The quality of academic programs is not high. The adminstration gives the students a false sense of achievement by giving them grades that do not reflect their true delivery of work/performance, feebly trying to build esteem rather than teach them strong skills in reading, writing, etc. in order to help them succeed academically at grade level.

Bayside middle School has much potential however I have noticed quite a decline in the teaching.

My daughter loves this school! She gets to participate in dance, learn Spanish and still take all the necessary required classes. Her teachers have been helpful in working with her and her grades have went up this year as a result. Also the Dean of the school is very friendly and will assist with any problems your child may encounter.
