I'm realy happy with this school and so is my 4 year old son. This is our second year in this school and I'm planning to keep him there. I like the both the accademic part and the social part. I noticed a positive improvement in my child personality and he knows alot compared to other friends. The teachers are great and so caring and the principle is one of a kind. She is realy great and knows all the kids and participate in every event they celebrate. The school does not require any help from parents but we as parents are welcome any time to see our kids in calss and enjoy them as often and as much we want.

There are wonderful teachers here, such as the middle school literature and grammar teacher, who I assure you are very good and thorough in their teaching. But, this school does not have any language classes, and P.E. is only for thirty minutes. There are afterschool clubs, but they all require paying extended care bills.

My son attended Challenger Sunnyvale for 9 years and did very well. He was lucky to have many exceptional teachers through the years. However, for the last two years of Middle School the teachers were less than stellar. It's a shame since the students have the same teachers for three years. The literature and writing teachers were outstanding. The many restrictions do not give the students the opportunity stray, yet also tend to limit their growth. Excellent phonics and math program in the younger grades. Can't help to excel!

Strong on academics. My 2nd grader is doing the amount of homework you might expect from a high school student. Students will learn a lot and will have to develop good homework/study skills to make it through a grade. For the beginning grades, this will most likely mean a lot of parent involvement. One of the problems with many private schools is the quality of the teaching staff. Teacher turn over rate tends to be high with many new inexperienced teachers each year. There are some good teachers at this school, but it is a coin toss as to whether you will get a good teacher or not.

The Children are challenged to perform above the standards of their grade levels. This raises the students capacity and confidence. Absolutely less time for extra curricular activities.

My son goes to Kindergarten and I am really amazed at how advance this school in academics. Extracurricular activities are on the low side though. You have to pay extra. and tuition fee is quite high. I'd say if you want a well rounded child, perhaps other schools can provide mroe. But if you want a brainy child, definitely pick this one.

Worse and worse each year. Teacher come and go. Many teachers are bad.

The school teachers attitude are bad. They have no concern for the students but go through the routine every day. I do not recommend this school. Get out when you can...
