Joseph George Middle School is enjoying a brand new beginning! With new carpet and a fresh coat of paint in every classroom, we are excited about the upcoming 2006-07 school year. Our test scores are on the rise, with gains in Language Arts and rising achievement for ELD students. Our staff has been enhanced by 5 new teachers! Our doors are always open to parents, so please feel free to drop by, visit classrooms and see your students in action. All of us at Joseph George Middle School are looking forward to a great year and working together with parents to raise expectations and achievement.

I have lived in the Alum Rock school district since 2000. Never have I been so dissatisfied with a district. There is always a different principal, or different teachers. Cannot have a decent school board.
