Initially I chose Liberty so that my daughter can have a great education as well as a strong Christian background. I think that the education has lacked. I have friends whose children go to public schools, and are academically more advanced than my daughter. I'm finding that I have to spend more and more time at home reviewing and going over her work or doing homework than I should be. For how much I pay in tuition and other fees, I though my daughter would be ahead of kids in public school. I wish the class sizes were smaller and that there were more extracurricular activities. Be sure you know how many kids are in the classes and make sure you think of other things, such as lockers, a cafeteria, after school sports, field trips, and other things that all kids in school should be able to experience.

I have a child at Liberty and also feel that the academic as well as the Christian values taught there are very good. However we have had a lot of issues with the teachers there and you really don't have a choice when there is only one class for your childs grade level and you are stuck with that teacher. I have been to the pricipal a number of times to resolve some very serious language issues involving the teacher and you are left feeling like you just blew a lot of hot air because the principal dosen't do anything about it. If you want to attend this school you have to hope that next year your child will get a good teacher.

i have a child currently enrolled at liberty baptist school. he is in first grade.i believe that the quality of education being taught there exceeds academic and religous standards.my only complaint about this school is that they dont practice what they preach.if a child is talking too much in class,or is having trouble focusing(like most 6 year old boys)they are quick to assume the child has a.d.d.,does not fit in,and push to expell them.my sons teacher and principal have made my sweet, child feel so bad about himself that,as a result, his A's have become F's.he doesnt even want to try anymore!his teacher has branded him and a few other kids as 'the bad ones' and thats just an aweful thing for a child to hear.when a child acts up, dont punish them! dont yell!steer them in the right direction! liberty baptist needs to get a clue!
