This is our first year at Los Gatos Christian School. It is a very conservative christian school that is very bible based. Children are expected to memorize bible verses each week as part of the curriculum. Some of these bible verses were not understood by my children, and some of them were, depending on the words used. The reading program has been good, and they use saxon math at a grade level ahead, which has put my children ahead in math. Halloween is not celebrated, and is referred to as the 'devil's holiday' in the upper grades, which was difficult for my children to understand. Santa is also not allowed to be discussed, since Christmas is a holiday about Jesus, not Santa. These are just the conservative views of the school. Overall, the school is very caring and warm. It is a tight knit community that is very caring and supportive.

Our children have been attending Los Gatos Christian school since kindergarten. We have been very pleased with the administration, teachers and school environment. We appreciate that the academics are challenging for all student learning levels; yet not overbearing.

This is our second year at Los Gatos Christian School. We are coming from a public school. We have found the academics very challenging and at the same time the teachers very willing to help. All the teachers are very easy to talk with and seem to really listen to any concerns. The other students are happy and friendly. I feel everyday that we are truly in the best place for our boys and our whole family. The best investment we could ever make, our boys future.
