This school has become a super star among schools. After six years of relentless reform, Luther Burbank has moved from a similar school ranking in 2001 of one to a similar school ranking in 2007 of ten, the highest ranking possible for a California school. With strong leadership and excellent classroom teachers, this school is very close to becoming a school of distinction. Parent involvement is high as is community agency involvement in the school. With modern and up to date facilities, the school ranks high as far as providing children with a tremendous learning environment. Luther Burbank is one of the only elementary schools in California that has its own elementary fitness center as well as state of the art interactive white boards with projectors in every classroom. Luther Burbank School District recently celebrated its 100th anniversary as a public school district in California. Congratulations!
