I wouldn't advise any child with a diability to attend Parkside. The administration and the teachers are extrememly uneducated and prejudice against students with disbilities. The school board from this district as well as the district superintendant refused to act on my complaint. The teachers refuse to acknowledge disabilities. I have had two children with disabilities at this school and it was a nightmare for both of them. Parent concerns are swept under the rug. I would have moved out of San Bruno to avoid this school if I could have.

I have had my child attending Parkside for two years now. My experience with the Principal and most of the teachers has been, at best lacking. There seems little follow through nor concern for the students. I would never again send my child to this school, in fact, I am considering moving out of this area. San Bruno might have been a lovely suburb, but the schools seem to have the bottom of the barrel.

My child attended very briefly, we sold our home and moved. Some of the kids at this school are the most disrespectful I have ever seen. Absolutely no respect for authority. I wasn't expecting such a rough atmosphere at school. I always thought San Bruno was a family community so it was really sad to see that so many parents have dropped the ball when it comes to raising their children. I also was not impressed by the new principal or the turnover of teachers.

I find that the communications between the principal and the parent, lacking. I have tried repeatedly to schedule appointments with no return calls or email. School Loop is a wonderful tool, however, only two of my son's 7 teachers post assignments on it, there are no grades posted and little feedback from the other 5 teachers. I think Parkside could be a wonderful school if there was more interaction between those teaching our students and parents who are concerned with their children.
