Ralston is a wonderful school with a challenging curriculum. My son and daughter both attended Ralston and we are very happy with the variety of courses that are offered. The technology course was particularly inspiring to my son.

I have been involved with this school for 3 years now, my oldest daughter will finish this year, and my youngest is in the middle of her first year. With very few exceptions I have been very pleased with a variety of aspects of my daughters education and experience from this school. I have zero regrets in having them attend here. Some specific points: - Quite a diversity in teachers. Various strengths and approaches which has worked well in motivating and performance in my daughters education. - Fantastic music program. Primary music director is superb. - Very strong in physical fitness and athletics with tremendous support from the three athletic teachers. Very supportive attitudes. - Administration is fantastic. This wasn't true a few short years ago. Great team between principal and vice principal's. Very key to schools success. - Very strong PTA and parent involvement. - Only downside, some aspects of the facility could use freshening.

If your child is in the advanced track, the academics are more than challenging. Teachers overall are very good and many are quite caring, but a few should be replaced. Principal very active and visible and does a good job. Overall, we are very satisfied with our son's experience.

My oldest son has been there 2 years now. Pretty good school. Not as great or competitive like those in the south bay.

I feel the quality of academic programs is high but some of (not all) the staff need to build up the students instead of carrying a chip on their shoulder. When a student (or even parent) walks into the office the receptionists act completely put out by the annoyance of you in their office. I have had 2 children go to school there and have felt the same through each experience. As I said the quality of education is high but if the children don't feel you're there to teach them for their benefit then your just shoving info down their throats. The availability of music, arts, and sports are good.
