Although I previously preferred female physicians, Dr. Belton is so amazing that I have never felt uncomfortable or "misunderstood" with him being a male. His practice is very small (he's the only OB), and he keeps it that way so that he has plenty of time with each patient to answer questions, etc.

Additionally, through 2 births with him, I have NEVER waited more than 5 minutes in his waiting room. That alone speaks volumes. He has three daughters of his own (one passed away a few years ago in a tragic car crash) so he really relates well to females! He is also very religious/spiritual so approaches things with a very positive/spiritual attitude. I'd almost have another baby just to go to his office each month and talk with him!!
