I started shopping through GreaterGood.com over 5 years ago and have been happy to know my purchases trigger a donation to a cause that I get to choose.

You go to the GreaterGood.com web site, choose a cause you want to benefit, and then click through to the business you are going to buy from. When you click through, GreaterGood gets a comission, and they give 100% of that commission to the cause you chose.

They have national causes as well as local ones, so you have a lot of choices.

They have a large list online stores including Barnes & Noble.com, Priceline, Nordstrom, Lands' End, Dell, Office Max, and Orivis.

If you're going to shop at these places anyway, your purchase can trigger a donation to your favorite cause if you get to the store through GreaterGood - an easy way to send some money to organizations that do good work.
