Dr. Shimizu is great! He was the only orthodontist/dentist who immediately knew that my daughter's canine teeth were stuck up inside her pallette and would not come down without dental surgery. He just looked at her and the construction of her other teeth and to him it was obvious. Bringing these teeth down has been painstaking and he has done it beautifully. She is almost done orthodontia, and he has done exemplary work. In addition, his staff is always friendly, efficient, and competent.

Our two kids also went to Dr. Ken Shimizu and he was outstanding. Great medical care, always on time, and a great guy (with a pleasant staff).

Dr. Shimuzu in Sunnyvale is great! He has a good rapport with the kids. He knows his stuff, a great staff, incentives for the kids to take care of their teeth and a yearly picnic at Saratoga Springs, and cookies and cake in the waiting area. My kids always enjoy going there. My son gets his braces off next month.
