Dr. Quo's office is fabulous but her mannerisms are condescending (everyone is "my dear" to her -- including the parents who are paying a small fortune for her services), she did not seem to have a good handle on achieving an aesthetic result, she was very mechanized & formulaic in her approach and as she does with nearly everyone, she would not do orthodontic treatment before a full sleep apnea evaluation at Stanford sleep clinic. She also works with only one jaw surgeon. I went to Kathy Lee & am much happier.

I know Dr. Quo is VERY popular in Palo Alto and numerous people recommended her practice to me. I took my son to her for a consultation and the whole atmosphere in her office was a real turn off. It really felt like a factory. There were so many kids waiting to be seen that there was no room for me to sit down in the waiting room. There were so many chairs lined up in the office area that I found it hard to believe that everyone could receive her full time and attention. In the end, we went to Dr. Kathy Lee and are very happy with our decision.

Dr. Quo has it all--extensive knowledge of orthodontia, a commitment to continuing education, superior rapport with patients and parents, knowedge of possible connections between orthodontic/skeletal problems and sleep apnea. She is thorough and runs a happy, efficient office.
