I took a class here for parents of two-year-olds. The room and supplies are lovely, and our teacher had many interesting and helpful things to say about raising toddlers, especially in the discipline department. My issue with Parents Place is very personal. I found that my style of attachment parenting was not 100% supported by the instructor, especially in the sleep department. I understand that there are many views about how to "train" a child to sleep and I believe that instructors should offer suggestions without implicitly passing judgement. I did not feel this way at Parents Place.
I would return to Parents Place for other classes, but would simply hold back from discussing any parenting techniques about which I am not ready to accept judgement.

They have a really great offering of parenting classes on topics from birth to school age. They also give classes for parents of special needs children. I really like the fact that several of their classes help support the parents as people - "Happy Moms Make Happy Families," "Parenting as Partners," and others. They also offer individual coaching and counseling services.
