Enjoy a mostly shaded, aerobic hike in the Pulgas Ridge Open Space Preserve near San Carlos, California. This loop can also be shortened by taking the Hassler Loop Trail or lengthened by taking the Dusky-footed Woodrat Trail (which is relatively new).
You can bring your dog and even take advantage of an off-leash dog area in the center of the open space preserve.
