I recently had a birthday party at Gamba karaoke and it was extremely fun! They actually have a huge variety of songs, from English to Chinese, Vietnamese, Korean, Japanese, Cantonese, Indonesian, Taiwanese, and Thai. We were surprised with how many popular and new English and Chinese songs they had! The karaoke place also has many different rooms which are very cute and color-coded. Although the TV is small, it is good enough to sing and have fun.
The owner is a very nice Japanese lady. However, she doesn't get a lot of business, so if you want to go there, make sure you call her in advance and make a reservation. It may be hard to reach her since she isn't there everyday, but call on busy nights, such as Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. She is also a little forgetful. We made a reservation for 5:00, but she came 15 minutes late. But she did give us a discount on our two hours.
The price is not very expensive either. We were also allowed to bring in our own food and drinks, which some karaoke places do not allow. If you do not bring anything however, they do sell snacks and refreshments. We had such a great time. If you are looking for somewhere to hold a birthday party, or just somewhere to hang out on a Friday night, you should definately come to this karaoke place!!
