They offer science birthday parties for ages 3+. You get a private room and just need to bring the cake. The kids can visit the museum and zoo afterwards and Rinconada park is right next door. Highly recommended!

This place is great for a rainy day. The museum is small but interactive and it seems to keep toddlers entertained for at least a few hours.

Great place for the under 3 yr olds if you want to spend an hour. Cute little zoo outside too. And it's all free.

I LOVE the Palo Alto Junior Museum and zoo for preschool and younger elementary school kids. It is a great place for a playdate, admission is free, there are exhibits and a small zoo, and it is right next door to Rinconada Park and Pool. They are closed on Mondays and often the animals seem to be sleeping when we come, but my kids always enjoy themselves.
