We had a new cover installed 2 yrs ago. The rope has broken five times. When we complained to PCI the first time we used it, they denied it was defective rope. The rope is cotton and not strong enough for the weight of the cover. Before this cover, We had polypropelene rope for 10 years it never broke. This rope on this new cover has repeatedly broken since their installation and never once functioned properly.

When I called back the sales rep (see my review below) and asked about the high price he implied that I should not care based on the neighborhood I lived in and the size of my house. Needless to say I will not be doing business with this company.

We called Pool Covers Inc. to come give us an estimate. Their representative arrived on time and said he would send us a written estimate. We never received anything so I called them and the guy dropped off a written estimate at our house the next day. They have many different styles and colors to choose from. The bid seemed extremely expensive to me (we have a small pool), however, we are still planning to use them because the other pool company that does covers in the Bay Area has a horrible reputation according to my contractor.
