I can highly recommend Tamarine. Whenever I have guests from out of town I always take them here for a beautifully prepared and delicious meal. The decor is Asian-influenced and they feature emerging artists. The prices are reasonable for the quality of food they provide. Their menu is online. Enjoy!

We went to Tamarine on a Friday night and it was loud and crowded like a Manhattan restaurant; definitely not a place for a conversation without elevating our voices. Maybe it was because it was Friday night, and others have found it quiet mid week.
There were four of us. We didn't order that much food and what we did order wasn't necessarily at the top end of the menu. The Thai-Malay Fusion food is good, although a little on the salty side; often an issue when you use, well tamarind, dried salted fish, etc. With only two glasses of wine at the table, the bill was definitely not within the range of what I'd consider "reasonable".
