I buy my sushi from Whole Foods mostly because I am already there grocery shopping. They use brown rice in many of their sushi offerings. If you go during the day when the sushi staff is working they will customize an order for you. Salmon nigiri with brown rice is my favorite.

Very high energy place with just about everything a family could want in terms of good food....lots of selection, and excellent fresh produce. People working there were knowledgeable and offered friendly service. Apart from the food, is a fun place to go

I really like Whole Foods in general and this one is pretty normal. There is an undergound parking garage with elevator to the sales floor and a traffic light making the left-hand turn onto El Camino bearable.

I'm kind of a sucker for attractive interior design and merchandise displays. It is kind of like the experience of window shopping at the mall while going to a grociery store.

Love this grocery store. Good ready to go food and good fresh fruits and veggies...

They have a great selection of produce, much of it organic, great fish and meat sections, and carry most everything else I need each week in the other aisles.

The folks behind the fish and meat counters are very knowledgeable. If you have a question about a particular type of meat or fish to get, a particular cut, or how to cook it, just ask. They've helped me quite a bit when I need to decide which fish or cut of meat will work best with certain spices or cooking methods. They've also taken special orders on things they don't stock in the case everyday, like ground chicken (makes a great wonton!).

You can also recycle your plastic grocery bags, batteries (rechargeable and disposable), and old cell phones in bins at the front of the store.

The underground parking took a little getting used to, but now I like it - my car isn't 100 degrees when I come out of the store.
