The staff seems to be friendlier at the Hotel Los Gatos location. I think this spa suffers from the same trappings as the Los Gatos Spa. Success and arrogance have gotten the better of them and they have put customer service on the back burner. I was a regular at the Saratoga location for years but the experience gradually seemed to be consistently less enjoyable. After a similar incident as I described above at the Los Gatos Spa, I had booked (and you pay more for) a deep tissue massage which the masseuse clearly wasn’t giving me. The front office personnel and the manager seemed disinterested when I told them of my bad experience. Its terrible to pay $100 for a treatment you’ve been looking forward to and then have it be disappointing. So again, I try to avoid Preston Wynne unless I have a specific masseuse referral. I did have a fabulous masseuse at the Los Gatos location…I think his name was Michael…not sure. But he was married and had kids. Great deep tissue massage! They only get two smiley faces from me for lack of customer service at their Saratoga location. I’d give the Los Gatos location three smiley faces so far.
Thanks to Savvy in Silicon Valley.
