Hhhhmmmm what to say about this spa. Well, first off the facilities are very nice. They have a large gift shop up front and a good sized library inside with beverages, snacks and magazines to enjoy while waiting for your treatment. Each treatment room is inviting and tranquil. Sad to say however, the service has really declined in the last few years. They’ve become numb to customer satisfaction with all of their success. The quality of treatments is VERY hit and miss. You better have a specific referral for an esthetician and masseuse before you go in so you are not disappointed. I’d made about 10 or so visits to this spa over the years and after my last three experiences I stopped going. The last time I went I had booked a deep tissue massage (which I always get) and they hooked me up with a masseuse who had CLEARLY not been trained in deep tissue. From the start I politely tried to guide this masseuse on how to adjust her massage and it just wasn’t working so I asked her to stop. The masseuse was very rude to me (and I was not rude to her). We got the manager and I clearly explained to her what was entailed in a deep tissue massage and how it was different than the Swedish style massage that this therapist was giving me. The manager said I wouldn’t be charged for the treatment. Well thank goodness since I was only in there for 15 out of 50 minutes! But the icing on the cake was that the manager did not try to get me in later that day or at any other time to reschedule my deep tissue massage nor did she make any other attempt to rectify the situation for me. I’m the mother of 3 children and had been looking forward to this for weeks. You can imagine how disappointed I was. So needless to say, I won’t be back to this spa without the referral of good therapists. Several spa-going girlfriends of mine have suffered the same poor treatment from them.

Thanks to Savvy in Silicon Valley.
