In my experience the staff at the Palo Alto location of MetroSport is hit or miss. Some people know about the specific models and brands of running shoes and others know nothing. They have a fairly good selection and the shoes are organized perfectly so I can narrow down my options without their assistance. Their shoes are organized by need (motion control, stability, etc.) not brand and that works well for me!
