1/2 day camp is great for the nursery class. Afternoon teachers don't pay attention to kids. They switch teacher in the afternoon every day. It causes confusion for 3.5 years old. My child had a poop in her pants and no one changed it.

My comments pertain only to preschoolers. The morning session 9-12 is good, especially if you want your child exposed to a language other than English (that is, French, Chinese, Spanish - and maybe others, depending upon enrollment). There were songs, stories, free play time, and very interesting events (animals brought in, etc.) But the afternoons where way too chaotic for small children, with different caretakers for lunch, nap, and the rotating afternoon activities. My daughter attends ISTP during the school year and school parents are working with the school to change this structure. The camp is NOT a good way to get an idea of what the school year is like. Note that, in contrast to this, I know people who enroll their older children year after year at ISTP's camp for bigger kids, because their children think it is so much FUN.
