(Camp booked through City of Palo Alto Rec Dept) First of all, the venue was changed by the City and no one was told, so we spent over an hour looking for it on the first day. Fiasco! The soccer skills training was desultory. The two teenagers running the camp didn't have much sense of how to discipline appropriately. The age range was 7 (my daughter) to 11, and only 12 kids: too many different ages and not enough kids. My daughter hated it, and begged me not to make her go on the last day.

(San Jose-Almaden location) Not advanced enough for 7 year olds. Fun though.

Sunnyvale location - It is a variety of sports so that the kids get a taste of how to play more than just one. There is a mix of ages but they group them by age in their small groups. Sign-out was always a bit chaotic but overall it was good. This was his second summer doing this camp and he wasn't bored.

Nationwide sports camp provider. Programs are offered in eleven different sports including soccer, baseball, basketball and football. Skyhawks offers programs through local community centers in the summer and year-round, including after school programs. Sign up through their website or your community center website. Coaches are really really nice. Kids get a ball and a t-shirt depending on which program they sign up for. My kids loved it!
Thanks to Savvy in Silicon Valley.

My son loved it. It was a 3 sports camp for ages 5-7. He had a great time, and I would recommend it highly.
