This is one of the ABSOLUTE best urban summer camps in the bay area! Morning sessions a focused on edutainment by some of the valleys brightest and best instructors and counselors. Afternoon sessions are action packed! Swimming, archery, art, ... After 3:30 campers pick a "specialty" they want to explore further.
My daughter begged me to attend from Kindergarten until 5th grade. Parents are invited to camp for shows and parent pride days or lunches.
I heartily recommend the 5 star camp!

Harker offers 2 4-week summer camp sessions. I agree that a 1-week session is not long enough for a young child to feel comfortable and settled. I much prefer the longer sessions. This program is academic in the mornings and fun in the afternoons. It is worth looking into.
