Louise is phenomenal! We call her the \"kid whisperer.\" She has an amazing talent for making children feel safe with her in the water. You know how kids have a radar for anyone who has another hidden agenda. Well, Louise is just so open and honest, that children immediately feel relaxed and safe. Our son ( 6 yrs old) has been taking lessons w/Louise for 2 years now and just loves her. She also does a parent/tot class as well as adult classes.

I had tried for months to get my 3 year old son to put his face in the water while he was swimming. Louise had him doing it in 10 minutes! Three years later, he's an excellent swimmer and I can't wait until a slot opens up for his little brother!

I love Louise and her lessons. I bring my 2 year old each week and Louise has such a great way with her. My daughter is slow to warm up to new people and Louise had her talking and swimming with her in no time. She is obviously great with kids and very relaxed but with great teaching skills. We went to her classes throughout the winter and had no problem with being cold. She keeps her pool nice and WARM!!

Louise is amazing. In fact, amazing doesn't describe her ability with children. I think of that book The Horse Whisperer; well Louise is the Kid Swimming Whisperer, because she has them making progress in days. I see someone else here wrote something similar about her! But it's true ... I've seen a fearful child spend a few minutes with Louise and then stick his head under the water.

I enrolled my daughter for three weeks of four classes a week, because last year, the once-a-week lessons at another swim center were too far apart. My daughter has had just a week and a bit with Louise and she's gone from just float kicking to swimming freestyle WITH THE BREATHING. I just about fell off my chair.

The thing about Louise is that because she's so good, you have to get organized and contact her early in the year to be sure of a place. But it's worth it, because she really gets results.

Another great thing is that she doesn't over- chlorinate her water. Not sure what sanitizing agent she uses, but my daughter doesn't smell of chlorine after a shower like everywhere else, and her hair isn't turning into hay!
