We have been going to Adobe for many years.
They are expensive.
We had an unfortunate event happen to us recently. We made an appointment on Thursday non urgent, for Saturday at 12:00. We were called that morning to tell us the vet was ill but to still come and they would fit us in.... We asked at the time, wouldn't it be better to reschedule...they insisted they would get us in. We arrived at 11:50 checked in. At 12:10, we still had not been even taken to a room. the receptionist kept promising us we would be next, ....then they kept calling someone else. We finally said, we will reschedule and walked out.
I will not go back unless I am desperate. This was very UNPROFESSIONAL.

This is a great place to take your pet. All the vets are great, though we particularly like Cristi Derenzi. There are enough vets that you can pretty much get an appointment right away. It's not cheap, but it's good, convenient and trustworthy.

These guys are great. We have taken our pets there for years, and always trust that they are getting great care. Sometimes though, you really have to ask yourself--does the hamster really need those itsy-bitsy $35 eyedrops? does the dog absolutely need a $400 traumatic overnight stay, simply because she seems to have an upset stomach? We have sometimes felt thay have gone a bit overboard in their effort to offer the best care--and once they offer it, you generally take their advice, because otherwise you feel heartless turning down their recommendations for care.

We have been taking all our pets to Adobe Animal Hospital for 12 years now. We usually see Dr. Jane Johnson, but all the vets we have seen have been excellent. Our pool old Aussie Shepherd was too scared of all vets to stay on the exam table, so Dr. Johnson would always sit down on the floor to examine and treat her. When we finally had to have her put down (at the ripe old age of 17), Dr. Johnson and her assistant came to our home and let us hold her while she passed. I can't tell you how much their compassion meant to us.
