"Very accommodating host. Jacob plowed our camper out so was ready to pick up in a timely manner. We plan to head south with the camper now."

"As a college student, I needed somewhere to store all of my possessions each summer break. Valeria’s place was so great that I kept coming back every year. Once I was even offered a big bag of peaches from her garden (so this is totally a paid review). She’s super quick to respond and has always been flexible when I needed it. *disclaimer: she never mentioned reviews to me- don’t take this down."

"This was my first experience with Neighbor and this host made it great. Never had any issues. The storage area is well protected behind a locked gate. Additionally, he has many cameras around further securing the area. I highly recommend, you will be happy!"

In a few words, Neighbor is an online peer-to-peer community that connects those who have extra space with those in need of storage. We love to help our hosts earn extra money and our renters save money. It’s that simple!
We’re on a mission to solve our neighbor’s problems, and that starts with the space issue. Some neighbors have too much, and some have not enough. By building community, working together, and staying neighborly, we are changing the way we think about self-storage.
Covered parking and storage for cars, trucks and other vehicles in Minneapolis, Minnesota is a great option if you’re looking for a secure but affordable place to store your car while you’re not using it or out of town.
Neighbor offers various types of covered car storage units in Minneapolis and can be anything from a covered parking space to a fully-equipped climate controlled storage warehouse. Depending on how much you are willing to spend and your storage needs, there are several storage types and amenities to consider, such as height of the unit, hours of access, and ease of parking and pulling out. While covered vehicle storage in Minneapolis will protect against most weather and other damage, it will be more expensive than outdoor car storage and won’t protect against humidity.
Neighbor offers a variety of covered car storage units that provide moderate protection from sun, rain, snow and hail. To maximize protection, you may consider still using a vehicle cover.
This type of storage unit has a roof overhead, but usually isn't fully enclosed on all or any sides. Spaces could include carports, parking garages, or covered parking spaces at traditional storage facilities. This type of storage and parking are often cheaper than indoor, enclosed storage units but more expensive than outdoor, uncovered options.
When booking a covered storage space for your vehicle, it's important to consider factors such as the size of the storage space, the height and width of the entryway, the level of access you'll have, and the provided security.
Whether looking for personal or commercial car storage, Neighbor provides a range of covered storage options in the Minneapolis area to take care of your investment.
On average a Neighbor covered car storage unit in Minneapolis costs $98 per month.
20x20 spaces are the most frequently booked covered car storage type in Minneapolis.
Motorcycles and other small vehicles generally require a 5x10 storage space while most cars and trucks will fit within a 10x20. For larger trailers, RVs, and other vehicles you will likely need to pull out the measuring tape as they can require anywhere from 10x40 to 20x60 spaces. Residential driveways offer a range of sizes and are typically affordable and convenient.
We recommend climate controlled storage for most electronics, collectibles, personal items (books, clothing, and photos), and sensitive materials (glass, leather, and metal).
If you live in a dry climate, climate control isn't as much of a concern, though you should still consider temperature's effect on your items.
If you expect freezing temperatures during the period that you plan to store your vehicle, you should definitely consider winterizing your vehicle before storing to prevent unecessary harm to your vehicle.
