Attic in our third car garage accessed by a ladder and a 1.5-foot opening in our garage ceiling. There is a light inside the attic and it is very clean. The peak of the attic is about 6 feet tall. You can pull right up to the entrance of the third car garage and the ladder is located directly inside. The reinforced storage area is 8x8, but you can use a small amount of additional space if desired by putting light, long items across the beams on the left and ride sides of the attic. If items are placed outside the 8x8 space, they MUST be on the wood beams to not put weight on the part of the floor that isn't reinforced.
