Short-Term Parking at Las Vegas Airport

Short-term parking is an ideal budget-friendly option if you’re quickly dropping off or picking up passengers at Harry Reid International Airport (also known as “Las Vegas International Airport” or the old “Mccarran International Airport”).

Payment is also a breeze, with both cash and credit cards accepted.

Free parking is available in all terminal lots if you have a disabled veteran plate

If you don’t have a disabled veteran plate and need accessible parking, you’ll find accessible airport parking (both short-term and long-term). However, do note that the accessible spots will still be charged at the standard rate.

So, if you’re looking to save on parking, note that the free shuttle service is accessible to all travelers.

Parking Options with Electric Vehicle Charging Stations

Harry Reid International Airport provides a few convenient electric vehicle (EV) charging stations for eco-conscious travelers. You’ll find EV charging stations available in the valet sections of both terminals. The best part? The valet attendants will handle the charging process for you!

Note EV charging station rates are included in the regular valet parking rates. There are no extra charges for using the charging stations.

Free Las Vegas Airport Parking

Harry Reid International Airport provides free airport parking options for drivers picking up passengers. There is a cell phone lot located on the northern side of the airport grounds near the terminals. Here, you can wait near the arrival gates without having to pay for parking.

Keep the following in mind regarding this lot:

  • The lot operates from 6 a.m. to 1 a.m. daily.
  • You cannot leave your vehicle unattended, and drivers must stay in their vehicles while waiting.
  • If you don’t follow these rules, you may get a parking ticket, or your car can get towed

Note that the cell phone lot isn’t the only lot that offers free parking. You can also find free parking in the short-term and long-term lots if you’re staying for 15 minutes or less, and there are free bicycle parking areas at both terminals for those who choose to bike to and from the airport.

Final Thoughts

Approximately 57.6 million people passed through Harry Reid International Airport in 2023 alone. That’s a massive amount of people and a lot of cars searching for parking spots!

With all of these people vying for the same parking spaces (and a 30-day limit in place), parking can be a headache. So, if you’re planning on leaving your car behind long-term, you may want to find a different parking option.

Neighbor, a peer-to-peer car storage marketplace, has nationwide car storage options for you to utilize. You can find car storage in any neighborhood you’d like, and prices are up to 50% lower than traditional options.
