Stone Mountain Park Campground butts up against Stone Mountain Lake–known for its fishing, boating, and canoeing opportunities. You’re also just 40 minutes from downtown Atlanta, making it a great place to venture into the city on day visits.
Or, if you’d rather hang out at the campground during your stay, there are plenty of things to do! Hike (or bike) on the nearby trails to sand volleyball courts, take your kids to the massive playground, or lounge by the pool.
