Make a trip to these Utah Valley splash pads part of your summer bucket list! They’re fun, free, typically located near city parks, and are finally starting to open up for the season. Ivory Ridge Splash Pad – Lehi, UT
A new, large area with plenty of parking, a pavilion, and playground.
- Location: 8323-8399 W 3200 N, Lehi, UT 84043 (west of The Church of Jesus Christ chapel)
- Hours: 10 am – 8 pm
- Open Dates: Memorial Day through Labor Day. Opened June 15th for the 2020 season.
Town Center Splash Pad – Highland, UT
A round traditional splash pad on the north part of the Utah Valley.
- Location: 5400 W Civic Center Drive Highland, UT
- Hours: 10 am – 8 pm (closed Sunday)
- Open Dates: The Highland City splash pad will remain closed during the yellow phase of the 2020 COVID – 19 response. When a transition to the green phase is made, City officials and staff will re-evaluate the opening date of the splash pad.
Creekside Park – Alpine, UT
Interactive sprayers and fountains, with a large park, grass area, and pavilion.
- Location: 100 South and 600 East, Alpine, UT 84004 (north of tennis courts)
- Hours: Park hours are 6 am – 8 pm
North Park Splash Pad – American Fork, UT
This splash pad in American Fork is more traditional. It is a large circular area that has water features shooting from the ground at various heights. It is a great splash pad and the kids will need their swimsuits, but keep in mind that some parents have a problem with not being able to see their children playing in both the water area and the playground at the same time. They are close but visibility can be difficult.
- Location: 1185 N 400 E, Spanish Fork, UT 84660 (behind the Costco)
- Hours: 7 am – 11 pm
- Open Dates: According to American Fork Parks and Recreation it will be opening as soon as the Utah Health District comes and does a routine inspection
Vineyard Grove Park – Vineyard, UT
The Vineyard Grove Park mini water park is one of the more unique and fun splash pads in Utah. There are fountains, slides, and many other additional features. The splash pad and adjacent park can easily handle a large quantity of people.
- Location: 350 N 100 E, Orem, UT 84059
- Hours: 10 am – 8 pm
- Open Dates: Memorial Day through Labor Day. Was delayed until May 29th for the 2020 season.
Palisade Park – Orem, UT
This park has a tall waterfall, shallow river, shaded area, and fountains. It’s a great place to bring some beach and water toys for the little ones, and some squirt guns for the older kids.

- Hours: 10 am – 8 pm (closed Sunday)
- Open Dates: May – October (weather permitting). Opened June 8th for the 2020 season.
The Orchard at University Place Splash Pad – Orem, UT
A small river format splash pad in an outdoor area of the mall. It is a good addition to playing on the playground and cooling down on a hot day.
- Location: University Place, Orem, UT 84097 (north side of mall)
- Hours: 10 am – 9 pm (closed Sunday)
- Open Dates: May – October (weather permitting). Opened June 8th for the 2020 season.
Splash Pad at Pioneer Park – Provo, UT
This splash pad in the heart of the Utah Valley is another traditional round splash pad in the middle of Pioneer Park.
- Location: 500 W Center St, Provo, UT 84601
- Hours: 10 am – 8 pm, with a 15 minute break every hour
- Open Dates: Memorial Day through Labor Day
The Shops at Riverwoods Splash Pad – Provo, UT
Two small traditional splash pads located within the Shops at the Riverwoods.
- Location: 4801 N University Ave Provo, UT 84604 (west side of mall)
- Hours: 11 am – 9 pm (closed Sunday)
- Open Dates: May – October (weather permitting). Opened June 8th for the 2020 season.
Cory Wride Memorial Park – Eagle Mountain, UT
This is a beautiful large park with a nice river style splash pad with waterfalls, shades, and many additional features and fountains.
- Location: 5806 Pony Express Pkwy, Eagle Mountain, UT 84005
- Hours: 10 am – 8 pm (closed Sunday)
- Open Dates: Memorial Day to Labor Day. Will remain closed during the yellow phase of the 2020 COVID-19 response. If Utah transitions to the green phase before the season is over, splash pad operations will be re-evaluated.
Nolen Park Splash Pad – Eagle Mountain, UT
Another great splash pad in Eagle Mountain. It has a few tall water features and sprayers that can be controlled and aimed by the children. To start the water, simply tap your foot on the activation sensor in the northeast corner of the pad. Pets, bikes, or scooters are not allowed on the splash pad. Also known by Nolan Park.

- Hours: 10 am – 8 pm
- Open Dates: Memorial Day to Labor Day. Will remain closed during the yellow phase of the 2020 COVID-19 response. If Utah transitions to the green phase before the season is over, splash pad operations will be re-evaluated.
Springville Splash Pad – Springville, UT
The Springville splash pad has a small waterfall, a winding shallow river, statues, and a traditional round splash pad area. It is usually quite busy during the day, but large enough to accommodate. In addition, there are plenty of trees around for parents to bring a blanket or lawn chair and sit in the shade.
- Location: 50 S Main St, Springville, UT 84663 (south of the fire station)
- Hours: 10 am – 8 pm
- Open Dates: Memorial Day through Labor Day. 2020 season was delayed until June 1st.
Sunset Trails Park Splash Pad – Santaquin, UT
Santaquin boasts a smaller water area close to the playground of Sunset Trails Park. It requires the children to press buttons for the water to turn on and squirt for a while, making it more of a relief from the heat than a swimming experience.
- Location: Summit Ridge Pkwy, Santaquin, UT 84655 (south of the Church of Jesus Christ chapel)
- Hours: 8 am – 9 pm
- Open Dates: Now open!
